Château Cambon Beaujolais
Gamay from Beaujolais
The vineyards are sat just between the villages of Morgon and Brouilly so, although they do not hold Grand Crus status, still have a very similar soil composition and aspect to their neighbours. The farming carries the estate's 100 year tradition of biodynamic farming - the vines have never seen chemical or inorganic fertilisers. Only natural yeasts are used in the wine making and the wines are aged in 200 year old oak foudres. This wine undergoes carbonic maceration giving those classic fresh raspberry and bubblegum notes to the palate.
