Chanzy Bourgogne Pinot Noir Les Fortunés

Red Burgundy

£22.95

This wine opens with an inviting bouquet of red berries lifted by subtle floral nuances and a gentle touch of spice. As it evolves, delicate earthy and lightly mineral notes begin to emerge, adding complexity without overpowering the fruit purity.
The palate is smooth and approachable, with a rounded texture and supple, finely structured tannins.
Blend of stainless-steel tanks and barrels. 10 months in barrels, followed by 4 months of ageing in stainless steel tanks before bottling.

Ideal with fresh and savory tapas, brunches with soft-boiled eggs with herbs, mushrooms stuffed with shrimp and fresh cheese with chives, roasted fish, roasted vegetables with feta, spinach and ricotta ravioli, chicken with lemon and goat's cheese.
