Chateau La Fleur de Gay Pomerol

French red blend

£120.00

Average vine age for this wine is 90 years old from a relatively new estate established in 1982. 100% new oak barrels are used adding lots of spice. 2011 was the last vintage made by Dr Alan Reynaud before large parcels of the vineyard were sold to Château Lafite Rothschild for the benefit of their Château Levangile cuvée. Although this is not the Château's most spectacular vintage, it represents excellent value for money both for drinking now and ageing for a further 15 years.
