A generous and opulent character with a fruit forward palate and well integrated tannin. Grapes are fermented whole to begin with to bring out varietal character. They are then pressed and allowed continue fermenting naturally with malolactic fermentation occurring in French oak for around one year. Only 20% new oak is used to impart subtle oak flavour on the wine.
