Rimapere Sauvignon Blanc
Can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a meal of white meat, fish with or without sauces, seafood or particularly, oysters.
Rimapere means five arrows in Maori and is named in honor of the Rothschild family crest, where five arrows are combined to represents the five brothers who forged the Rothschild dynasty of entrepreneurs and were the sons of Mayer Amschel Rothchild.
The Rimapere vineyard is located in the Wairau Valley area of Marlborough on the prestigious Rapaura Road.
The project is a joint venture between Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and Terry Peabody, owner of Craggy Range, who have combined their expertise to produce an eminently drinkable, quality Marlborough Sauvignon that was met with almost universal praise when it launched in January 2014 at the New Zealand Winegrowers London tasting.
