Braun, Riesling Individuell, 2020
Juicy and fresh with flavours of peach, apricot, and lemon. This wine has a spicy character from a partial fermentation with natural yeasts. A well-balanced Riesling with compact structure, balanced acidity. The distinctive acidity is tempered by a fine residual sweetness.
Ideal with raw, cured, and smoked fish, fresh or lightly dressed shellfish, pork, pickled vegetables, and goat cheese.
The Braun estate produces varietal-typical but pleasing wines with individual taste and character for special occasions. The Riesling is fermented spontaneously and is characterized by a good acidity with a small amount of residual sugar.
Today's Braun winery grew together in the mid-1970s from the two grandparents' businesses in Ellerstadt and Meckenheim. Martin and Michael Braun cultivate their 40 hectares of vineyards out of conviction and with respect for nature.
