Canerock Spiced Rum
Made from traditional Jamaican rums infused with natural spices and aged in oak casks, Canerock Jamaican Spiced Rum has a rich and unique character with sweet vanilla notes, dry fruits, and delicate oak tannins. Long fermentations and traditional pot still distillation produces rums with an unmistakable “funky” profile. After being infused, our rum spends a few months in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. This particular type of fortified wine from Jerez, Spain, is intensely and naturally sweet with notes of honey and candied fruits – a final touch that gives our rum rare length and complexity.
Jamaica glistens in the Caribbean Sea, a mountainous tropical island ringed by white sand beaches and refreshed by lush forests. Home of venerable sea turtles, the majestic Blue Mountains, native orchids and mangrove trees, Jamaica also produces the world’s greatest rums. Locals call their tropical island paradise “The Rock” due to its remote location and fertile limestone soil that covers most of the island, making it the perfect growing conditions for sugar cane. Jamaican rums are full-bodied expressions of the terroir’s aromatic power which inspired the creation of Canerock Jamaican Spiced Rum.
