Chateau Lestage Simon, Haut Medoc, 2018
Bordeaux Haut Medoc of Chateau Lestage Simon has a dense purple color. The nose charms with nuances of mulberry, blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant. Mediterranean herbs and garrigue are added, encouraged by the oak influence. On the palate, the wine starts out wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this punchy red wine features an immensely fleshy texture.
Ideal with most game, beef, veal, pork, lamb or duck dishes, roast chicken, seafood dishes, hard and soft cheese or as aperitif with charcuterie.
