Amarone Classico is made from grapes selected by hand from the Rizzardi family’s estate in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico zone. After the grape drying period the wine undergoes a long fermentation followed by three years matured in oak and is normally released in the 4th year following harvest. Aged for 36 months in oak barrels.
Ideal with hearty stews and casseroles, games dishes and with grill/barbecue meals.
