Glenelly Estate Reserve Chardonnay

Glenelly Estate is located on the lower slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, in the heart of Stellenbosch. It was purchased in 2003 by May de Lencquesaing, former owner of the iconic Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande in France.<br> <br> The Estate Reserve Chadonnay wines are planted in the coolest part of the estate in soils with a high quartz content. It is fermented in 500 litre French oak barrels and aged for 10 months. This results in a lightly oaked wine with an elegant minerality: a true expression of the terroir of Glenelly. Drink now until 2026 and beyond for the most delicate palates.
